Inspection
Opened out and read under light — fibre, weave, embroidery type, old repairs, edge wear.
Assessment
Colour fastness tested on the embroidery. The process is decided before anything is switched on.
Care
Hand-controlled delicate cleaning with a gentle solvent — never part of a general load.
Finishing
Dried flat, blocked back to its original size, hand-finished and tissue-wrapped for storage.
